I am looking forward to having a new coach. Something needed to change for sure.

At least the Mariners did get a new coach before the 12/1 potential lockout. The November madness of player's signing could be interesting and as well as a challenge for the new coach.

He will be able to bring in his coaching team even if there is a lockout.

It will be interesting to see what the Mariners roster and coaching staff looks like next spring. I just hope he has enough time to help institute changes he wants to accomplish. If there is no spring training, that could be a challenge...

They hired a hitting coach before they hired the manager, which seems very odd. He has been in the Mariners organization before. Maybe Jerry should have just named himself manager.

Interesting as in...the same guys who sucked last year with a couple of C & D list free agents ?

'Cuz that's historically what you get with the m's.

54% looks aspirational...next 3-4 years they might get there.

The franchise is a joke, the Brewers winning things is as close as they'll ever get without a new owner.
