They aren't stuck with JGs contract. They could cut him today with no cap hit.

They also have a good history of paying their best players top dollar for their position(Kittle, Warner, Williams). So if its just money that would be weird, unless he's haggling over 1-2 mill per year.

In his wide-back role he's worth the money. if he's not into the RB part of it and just wants to be a WR then his value goes down. Most dropped passes in the NFL. He's all YAC. How much of that is Shanahan's scheme?

Super weird situation given his close relationship with the coaches. Never complained before. If he is going to go full on diva then get a 1st and a 3rd and save the money. I just can't see paying a WR 25-30 mill a year...WRs need a QB and a decent Oline to be successful.

Disappointing.

I had entered the Bud Light contest to see if I could guess every 1st round pick accurately. I went 3-29, which coincidentally will be the Seahawks combined record over the next 2 years.

Little before my time but saw many highlights years later..."The Mad Bomber". Al Davis had another mantra besides "Just win Baby"..."Go Deep". Al Davis wanted the ball flying downfield, probably cringe with all these tunnel, smoke, circle, bubble, etc screen pass plays today. RIP #3

AJ Brown's new contract extension of 4 years / $100,000,000.00/ 57M guaranteed doesn't help. And don't pretend DK's eyes didn't see that either.
 
I don't know why everybody gets excited on them all drafting football players. It's just a crap shoot on if they are going to pan out. Wilson was alright for a while but in him being the go to guy. Well I always thought he was to short to be a good QB. He has to scramble around in the back field in order to see his receivers. That's why he got sacked as often as he was.

The funny part is drafting the best pass-protecting LT in the draft with the pick they acquired in the Wilson trade. Wilson be like "So NOW you prioritize pass protection?"
