"The trade leaves $26 million on the Seahawks salary cap in 2022
Which is why I thought the trade would not happen, evidently Russ must have wanted out pretty bad, it's all about image and legacy.

Soooo, who's excited to see how many games the SeaChickens will win with Bridgewater?!?

Like I've said earlier, he just has a very carefully crafted public face. He is a product. We don't get to see the "real" Russell Wilson as fans. I think that's a big part of why he rubs a lot of us the wrong way. We know it's a facade, and wish he'd just turn off the BS for once and be genuine.

Somewhere between this and Aaron Rodgers would be nice eh? There are some real ones out there but you don't really know until they have success and can relax. Why say something that might cost you 30 million a year. You can be a character all you want but if you don't perform you are out.

And I see you Mishnew desire there. At least have some fun while tanking....

Dear Seahawks fans,

I hope this minute finds you well and in good health. I realize that it's been nearly five long minutes since I've written. For that, I apologize. I thought this short video of your future QB might lift your spirits.

I dont find RW personality to be very interesting overall, but I have no problem with it. I'd rather a carefully crafted image than a whiner, diva, or someone who is constantly getting into legal trouble.

He's stayed completely clean off the field, did a lot for a bunch of charities, and most importantly won my favorite team a SB. If the worst thing I can say about his time here is that he was too fakely nice, I'm OK with that.

I just heard a sports reporter saying do you really believe a 71 year old Pete Carrol wants to go through a rebuild. That guy says Pete has a solution to win. Kinda makes sense I guess. We will see. Maybe Pete is retiring this year. Wouldn’t bother me any.

This is exactly why I'm starting to fear a Watson trade on the horizon.

My point was that Russ has been saying all along he wanted to stay. Hawks have been saying they don't want to trade him. So someone was lying.
Russ never actually said he wanted to stay in Seattle, he said he wanted "to win in Seattle", and Pete said they didn't "intend to trade" Russ. Pro sports double speak.

No doubt it's all double speak, but he most definitely said he wanted to stay here. At least publicly

Just last month

Of course reports are also stating they had been working on this deal for a couple of weeks, so clearly Pete did have some intention lol

Minshew > Trubiskey > Bridgewater > Geno/Eason/Lock handing it off all season > Deshaun Watson and his 20+ sexual assault charges.
I was just coming here to ask about Minshew. He goes along with my longtime NFL QB Crush too. 😆😆😆2F8ADF80-D918-4039-92B2-13D266CCF7DC.jpeg

Wow
If you're watching baseball, definitely put down the bong dude...
Mitch Trubisky....
That must be some good sh!t.
o_O

Ok, I just ripped another hit….. o_O
Truth is thought, I’d bet Trubisky gets a decent contract especially with where the salary cap is.
There are always coaches at every level that think they can “fix” guys or make them successful. It has worked for some in the past, others not so well.
Teddy Bridgewater is a pretty good example of this and it hasn’t worked out well in his past few stops.
There then reaches a point where they might fill in should the starter gets hurt. It’s amazing how long of careers guys like that can have.
Daniels, Hoyer, Keenum, Henne come to mind.
I don’t think Trubisky is there yet, but if he flames out at his next stop he probably will be.

Who would Hawks fan prefer, Lock or Trubisky if those were the two options?

My dearest Seahawks fans,

Whew, I hope that these last 10+ minutes weren't too difficult for you. I understand that you feel like that jilted lover who's been left for a younger and more capable partner. With that in mind, not all is lost. I'll leave you with this. I think you might have a good one.

All of my best,
BroncosFan
