🐴Broncos traded two 1s, two 2s, 5th, Fant, Harris, and Drew Lock for Russell Wilson and a 4th round pick

I am not unhappy hearing this news and i can’t believe I’m saying that. But i think I finally got over him when he played with his bad hand when he shouldn’t and that just seems like nobody ever told Russell no and just believed him when he said he was ready. Recently i saw him on Kimmel with his wife about the kid book they wrote and he just annoyed me. (I noticed they pointedly didn’t talk about football.) I can imagine he annoyed the shit out of some of the guys in the locker room too.

I’m glad i never got a Wilson jersey! I still can wear my Kam Chancellor (and maybe Lockett a while longer, hopefully).

I am looking more forward to a next season with an unknown QB then i would be if Russell was still with us.
 
The baseball lockout and Wilson goes away.

I agree with stonefish, Mitchell Trubinsky has potential.

good for your Rams, especially since Rodgers likes to choke come playoff time. Man, the AFC is going to be a gauntlet...shit, the AFC West is going to be a gauntlet!

Wilson will be missed by LA RAM fans.

In 21 games against the RAMS, Wilson had 8 wins and 13 losses (0.381 record), including a playoff loss. Wilson passed for 26 touchdowns. The RAMS intercepted 13 passes by Wilson and sacked him 77 times — both marks the most by any opponent. RAMS star lineman Aaron Donald is probably sad to see Wilson go: Donald amassed 15 sacks against the Seahawks, tied for his most against any opponent.

You guys who think it's just a "retool"....say wha!?!? You just traded away a franchise QB. Feel free to talk yourself into how great of a deal it was for you, the fact is that whoever has a franchise QB does significantly better than those who don't. Hawks are in a full on re-BUILD. Best of luck to ya, maybe you'll get lucky and get another guy who slips through the cracks, but odds are (and based on Pete's recent drafting), that's not happening. DK? let him go. He's a track guy who looked like a WR because R-effing-W was throwing him the ball. I can't wait to see what he looks like with Lock throwing him the ball, if he's not suspended for conduct detrimental to the team...

I had Coach Cable on my boat by himself for a 12 hour day back when he was the OL coach at Seattle. It took about 5 seconds to figure out that coach had zero interest in talking ball (or taking at all). I was being paid to fish that day so I didn’t push but I did ask him what Russ was like. His response was, “we like him on Sunday’s” not another word after that...it was very obvious he didn’t like him.

As a fan, I liked watching him play but it was probably time for him to move on.
