That's what a nice homeowner on Star Lake thought when Steve asked to trim some culms.
I could barely see Steve buried in bamboo as he motored his pram back to the ramp.

The Black Stealth ugly stick’s Threadmaster is curing on the rod turner right now! I finished wrapping and finish coating minutes before the first pitch! Lawn cast tomorrow and hopefully fish on this next week!! Pictures to follow…..GO M’s!!

Even with rain in the forecast……Tom and I are fishing today like real men! Real men with prams and umbrellas that is! Hope to devirginize the Black ugly stick today!

Well, mission accomplished, C&R’d 6 trout and one bass today. Devirginized the Black ugly stick with the first trout a dark 2+ lb brooder and another smaller on a midge emerger sight casting. The rod performed well but not much fight in those fish. And yes it did rain just like they called it….2:00 showers right on the nose then quit and was a decent day. If only the catching was better…..still out fishing felt great! First time using prams instead of pontoon boats….Tom forgot his oar locks and I forgot my seat cushions……old fart syndrome!

No seat cushion is just a pain in the butt.

No oar locks…that’s a little tougher row to hoe. Not impossible, but limiting.

I sort of managed a modified J stroke to keep the pram going in a straight line. Not.
