NBA Playoffs

Horford tried posting up on him …had a hard time moving him off the block…
Yeah, I was more impressed with Curry's D than his O in this series. We've all seen what he can do shooting-wise....

Lost in all of this is the incredible job Meyers did/does as GM to build this team. Set aside the stars and their salary cap, minimum contract guys made a huge impact. The narrative that the Cs look fatigued makes sense since they were on a short rotation. The Dubs had a solid rotation where they got close to regular rest. Guys like Otto Porter Jr and Bjelica gave the stars much needed rest. GP2 was super impactful. He was cut the day before the season and resigned the next day. Anybody could have had him.

But as has been said above turnovers are a killer. The Dubs always shoot for 30 assists a game. I think doing that in the regular season leads to some losses. There is value in that, as they learn what sloppy assist attempts do.

When it all comes down to it, championship pedigree means that you understand each and every possession is crucial. Either you score or you establish something that gets the defense thinking. The Warriors know that. The Cs just learned it.

Next year should be awesome.

The Warriors appear to really love their teammates, it shows up both on the court and off. I think that is partially why Durant never quite fit in-he mostly loves himself.

Curry is unique among superstars as he can have an off night and still be intimidating as hell whereas other supers can have a sour night and the whole team struggles. As the best shooter in history his combination of skill and humility is refreshing among today's crop of Me First athletes. Wiggins appears to be cut out of the same cloth and was a vital addition to this years team, his selection as a starting All Star was reinforced in the series. For my money the Dubs are the most entertaining team in all of sports to watch and I'm not necessarily a basketball fan. Curry is simply magic.

Aquiring Wiggins was quite a stroke.

Aquiring Wiggins was quite a stroke.

Pretty crazy they turned loosing Durant into getting D Russel and then flipped that into Wiggins and Kuminga. Warriors culture turned Wiggins into an all star(no, he shouldn't have been a starter) and a young Antetokounmpo(yes, looked it up).

Poole, Kuminga, Moody, and hopefully Wiseman would make a team excited about its future. Dubs are set to be in the hunt for a long time.

Even if their salary is $500 million
