Could this be the beginning of a real life sequel to The Feather Thief?
Blasphemy! That’s like saying bald eagle tastes like chicken!Yeah, but to be perfectly fair to Mr Clark, I also immediately saw awesome tying material. Albeit in the form of squid flies. Looks similar to nayat.
Well...it does!Blasphemy! That’s like saying bald eagle tastes like chicken!
They even gave it nice taper before holding it in a way that shows its relative stiffness. Put me on the list.I dunno though, the way the researcher is holding that perfect bunch of hair makes me think that they're a fly tier themselves and probably would get the AAA stuff. By the time it gets to me, I'd probably be looking at B-side material....but still, I want some!
I KNOW!They even gave it nice taper before holding it in a way that shows its relative stiffness. Put me on the list.
I know I do.Does anyone else just see fly tying materials there?
I need to get another Sptinger...fuck these Labs! Kidding...obviously (hopefully).I know I do.
If corgis make excellent clousers and tube flies, why not a mammoth?
Run a slicker brush over a black lab and you’ve got legs and tails for days. Yellows are good for sulphur, and can make a serviceable caddis x.I need to get another Sptinger...fuck these Labs! Kidding...obviously (hopefully).
Hold still? Man, we’re talkin live bait here.If corgis make excellent clousers and tube flies, why not a mammoth?
I’d imagine it’s harder to get a mammoth to hold still long enough to be lashed to a hook. Corgis are trouble enough.
X caddis? Wtf? I thought you knew me!Run a slicker brush over a black lab and you’ve got legs and tails for days. Yellows are good for sulphur, and can make a serviceable caddis x.
Somewhere I have a photo of the permit I caught on a 1/0 PTN. You gotta expand your horizons, my man. This world is too big for narrow mindsets.X caddis? Wtf? I thought you knew me!
I'm guessing those suggestions are trout oriented? Gross!
