Few Words

Such leviathans! Awesome fish, more pictures please (I really dig the rock formations too).

No words necessary!

That's my kind of report!

Maybe one day…
I look forward to this report every year. Amazing! Thanks.

Nice photos, huge beasts, I want to know where, when, how were the bugs, and on and on.....
Great Slave Lake, Northwest Territories
Last week of August - taking chances on wind, one bad wind day - walked to the river and fished for grayling that day - but better chance of seeing the aurora.
No bugs, I saw maybe 4 mosquitoes.
Out of 4 of us, 5 checked bags didn’t make it. 4 of 5 arrived on day 4, fortunately mine was one of them. The last one arrived wet inside and on day 6, the day before departure. Would have been nice to have my own flies and rain gear, but our guide and friend kept us in flies, and many others offered to lend gear. I carry my rods and keep my reels in my carry on fortunately.
I have now been 3 times. Penciled in a week earlier next year.
We got lucky with weather
I caught 3 fish of a lifetime
No one can expect a trip like this
