Evan's boat projects: The next chapter

have seen that done to counter single motor prop torque..better to change the prop pitch, reduce torque, replace with rpm's, best done with a 4 blade
Usually best to stick with the hull design as intended, tune up the variables...go fishing.
and the majority who go out in the salt end up with the 'two footitis' malady...

eh, the "two footitis" is something that doesn't really get to me. The bigger the boat is, the less portable it is. The days I choose to take my own boat on the ocean are the days it's practically a lake out there. And I always choose the days in the middle of a few days of calm so I'm not in danger of leftover chop, or racing a storm that might show up that day. This is plenty of boat for the programs I'm on, and there's plenty of old salts in Oregon running the same size boat for their tuna programs and such.

I do plan to get me a 4 blade prop at some point. I actually have one I put on my father in law's boat. Might put the prop I'm currently using and put it on his for a swap.

I hope that rod was already broken somehow and that's why you're using it. I too have "rebroke" a broken fly rod to accomplish a "special tool" task.
I have a source of all the fly rod handles I could ever want. Not concerned about it 😉
