Did somebody say hardy ultralite clone? I might....if that's true.....have to try one on for size.Many Moonshine rods are on sale, on Amazon, for nearly half price.
The Epiphany euro rods are a particularly good deal; $136 for what is basically a Hardy Ultralite clone, most likely made in the same Korean factory. Normally $300 and well reviewed in euro circles.
I also picked up a 10ft 5wt, for lakes, for $100. This one’s more of a gamble, but it’s probably fine.
@Long_Rod_Silvers time to become a euro trash. At this price, it is a mistake you can afford to make. Might as well go all in and get a rod from the most hated brand on the internet.![]()
Question though: do I have to use all the silly perdigon nymphs? Or can I use real flies?
