Deals at online Retailers

Many Moonshine rods are on sale, on Amazon, for nearly half price.

The Epiphany euro rods are a particularly good deal; $136 for what is basically a Hardy Ultralite clone, most likely made in the same Korean factory. Normally $300 and well reviewed in euro circles.

I also picked up a 10ft 5wt, for lakes, for $100. This one’s more of a gamble, but it’s probably fine.

@Long_Rod_Silvers time to become a euro trash. At this price, it is a mistake you can afford to make. Might as well go all in and get a rod from the most hated brand on the internet. 😘
Did somebody say hardy ultralite clone? I might....if that's true.....have to try one on for size.
Question though: do I have to use all the silly perdigon nymphs? Or can I use real flies? 😬

Shows at $299 on link you sent for Epiphany. Must have been short lived price?

Seems to be a bug with the link. Choose the options below again and you should see the sale price.

I think someone actually messed up with the data entry on this. They have it listed for $170 at full price, which it definitely isn’t.

Get in quick, before someone realizes!

Hardy Ultralite was the first euro rod to use snake guides near the top and single foot guides everywhere else. The Epiphany came out almost at the same time. Both rods are made in Korea.

Moonshine don’t have world class rod designers, like Howard Croston at Hardy. It’s all far too coincidental. Speculation is that Monshine told the same factory “make some of those for us”.

I never really got into perdigons. I fish streamers, dries and dry-dropper mostly. Also mop flies, of course.

Well I guess this was finally enough to push me into finally getting a Euro rod setup, had a random Reddington Tilt I got at a half off sale and now this.

I'm owed large sums from online retailers!! No risk no reward! See recent post about being owes large sums from various online retailers.

I appreciate your shop. Super fast. Super easy. I only buy tying materials elsewhere if you don’t have it in stock.

BTW, I see you have shrimp easy eyes on sale in the Outlet. Are you going to stop selling those? If so, I’ll buy you out :). A must have for src fishing for me and they are tough to find.
No we aren't we just brought in wayyy to many on our last shipment! Just leveling out they will be back to full price shortly!

We truly appreciate you too! thank you for all your support!

Likewise, I buy 99% of my stuff from @SpawnFlyFish and my local (Confluence in Bham).

Hooks are something I will try to not buy online again because it's such a crapshoot. One thing that I think could put Spawn over the top is a hook comparison graph/image/something. I know every manufacturer is different and every model within each manufacturer is different but it'd be great to see some different hooks photographed next to each other to get a size reference.
I'll be sending an email to the manufactures asking them to put together a measurement sheet for all hooks. This shouldn't be a problem. We could easily do it for Spawn Shanks although we already state there measurements but we have all the design files. Hook companies which to my thinking are all way bigger than Spawn should have the ability to put something like that together with ease then I can bring them all into one comparison chart. Will they do it? No idea, but I will try!

Love it thank you so much for the support! It's called a Rainbow Yummy, Pete (other owner) and I (Josh) actually signed with Fulling Mill so that will be produced and in shops around the country. Very popular for bass and brown trout and a sleeper for cutthroat! Overall been a crazy successful pattern for me there's a Brown Trout Yummy and Shad Yummy videos on YouTube! super easy to tie as well!
