Baseball 2025

Mariners are making a huge statement tonight!

Cal Raleigh rose to the occasion then put his MVP exclamation mark on top of it..

4 more games in the regular season. How much more history will be made?

Best way to find out, watch the games!

I already had tickets for tonight's (Thu) game, but had this feeling that last night (Wed) would be the game to be at, so I ended up getting tickets at the last minute and taking the boys to the Park last night too. What a night! I've been to a lot of baseball games, including the clincher in 1997 and a handful of walkoffs, but last night was the most electric baseball scene I've ever been in. From the 3 HRs in the first we knew it was our game and it was pure celebration the entire game. Castillo was one pitch away from perfect. The MVP chants during every one of Cal's ABs followed by 3-5 with 2 bombs. Definitely my favorite game I've ever attended. This team is so hungry to win.

I wonder? If someone had taken a hundred bucks to Vegas and made one of those prop bets in May that Cal Raleigh would hit at least 60 home runs this year what would that C note be worth today?

Imagine some sort of trifecta bet of Cal record breaking 60 HR, four players with over 50 HR this season (ties MLB record), and Juan Soto 35 stolen bases after never having more than 12 in any other year.

Heck, even a bet on the M's winning the AL West for the first time in over 20 years would have paid nicely, I suspect.

I ended up cancelling all plans and took my daughter to T-Mobile park for game 2 against Colorado last night. I knew what was on the line, and I told Tori that I had a feeling we need to be their. Grandpa is telling me to go!
It was a perfect evening. Traffic was great going in, we went 2.5 hours early and got to our prepaid parking at Union street garage (15.00$). Like a beautiful sitcom Daddy Daughter moment, we hot boxed the car using our weed pens for a good 5 minutes, and then walked into the stadium, and enjoyed every moment of our evening.
When the last pitch was tossed, my thoughts moved to my St Louis Cardinals loving Dad, and my emotions got the better of me. Other fans could see my eyes and all started tugging on me and giving high fives. Was a great night, and I hope Victoria remembers it too!

"Is this heaven?"

Hells yeah! Love it.

shouild have watched the M's instead of the hawks last night... By the time the hawks managed not to lose I was so frustrated I just went to bed. There is no other pro team in Seattle while the M's are still playing this year.. "only GOOD vibes".

The second best button on the remote is the “last channel” back button, I think I wore it out last night flipping back and forth between the two games.

Possible World Series preview tonight. Great match up to end the regular season. Anyone going to a game?

I'd love to see Cal hit 2 or 3 more to tie or pass Judge's AL record. I think it would guarantee the MVP vote.

It would be cool for Suarez to hit one more also. I know he didn't start the season with Seattle, but the only time a team had two same season 50 HR hitters was the 61' Yankees with Mickey Mantle and Roger Maris.

Root used to carry some great local sports broadcasting, including all the state HS championship games.

Houston misses the playoffs, which delights me. It delights me even further that Cleveland and Detroit clinched the playoffs by winning exactly 54% of their games
