Baseball 2025

It looked like all the players were having fun. Nice to see that camaraderie.

Royals likely have to go 40 and 25 to make the playoffs. It will be tough, but they are capable, they have the pitching to do it, went 20 and during a stretch in April/May

Go Royals

The Mariners and Houston games are all fun to watch as well as entertaining, exciting, close in score, and keeps one on the edge of their seat.

What can one ask for? Another Mariners win of course!

Update: everything described above happened including the win!

M's continue to befuddle... One way of looking at the last 2 series is they went .500 with 2 of the best/hottest teams in MLB. The other way is to focus on the 2 gaawwdaaawwwfulll losses where they were spanked by their opponents.

The brew-crew debacle yesterday was ridiculous. Hitters squaring up sliders low and away, top rail fast balls and everything in between. They're pitching and hitting are humming right now and they look to me like a lock for a post season run.

Still it's baseball. Teams prowess ebbs and flow within the season. You need to get into September and get on a streak, anything can happen.

How is it possible to have catcher interference from the same catcher two days in a row to decide both games in favor of the Phillies?...last Monday in extra innings, with the bases loaded, catcher interference was called forcing the winning run to home plate...then the next day, Bryce Harper tried to steal home and was awarded the run due to catcher interference preventing the batter from swinging...

Crickets from you Mariners fans ...

Being the Sox it does take practice. Narveaz (sp?) must have seen Harper coming and the pitcher, probably a lefty never saw him break for home. 3B and 1B should have been screaming. Narveaz caught the ball in front of the plate so game over. He’s been a gift from the Yankees. Who’d a thought!
I was taught to drill the hitter if that happened even if the bases were loaded ‘cause the hitters going to duck if he’s smart. Long time ago in a place far away now. Being a righty it never happened to me.

beg to differ, did you see my post about them being 'be-fuddling'. They just made what appears to be a solid move acquiring Josh Naylor; starting tonight.
We'll take Josh back in Cleveland if you don't want him out there. Brother Bo is still here at catcher. If he had to go, I'm glad he at least landed in Seattle after AZ. Not sure for how long, I thought he was in the last year of his contract.

We've been going to the Sweet's games this summer. The kids say I'm a jinx as they don't win when I'm there. They still might make the playoffs. Did win a blanket in the toilet shoot out thought.

That' what I was referring to :), the fan base should be pretty excited about this move - very solid hitter.
