The Fall Classic is set…
Between two classic teams,
One on the east coast and one on the west.
I would have preferred a subway series, but the METS came up short; even after a stellar season. Next year…boys!!

I got Ohtani. Glad someone can afford him but I also don't hold it against him. Love seeing these guys in the now while it's happening. Suppose similar could be said for the Judge, but.

On another note, I have some hilarious FTY footage from Progressive field the day we finished Detroit. Bummer no video here.
 
I was very much effected by 9/11. For that reason alone, and Ohtani chose not to come to Seattle I say fuck those Dodgers. Lets go Yankees. I hope that city gets another one.

I think the greatest pitch I have ever seen was the first pitch thrown by President Bush to open Game 3 of the 2001 World Series, pretty remarkable to throw a strike under those conditions.

 
15.00 bucks for a ticket when Fernando pitching in World Series vs Yankees 1981.. NBC news reported today $1700,00. Not sure if true. But

The price can sky rocket, the seats will be sold. There is a lot of money out there itching to be spent.
 
I was watching the night Kirk Gibson limped to the plate and hit his World Series walkoff, the most dramatic home run I have ever seen. Freddie Freeman matched it tonight with a fantastic come from behind grand slam that will be talked about for years. A great game with an amazing ending! Baseball at it's finest.
 
It’s a great start. But it’s like scoring first in the first qtr of the Super Bowl. Long ways to go yet.
Even Freeman eluded to 1and 3 more to go.

I'll second this and go one further: ANYBODY but the Yankees (but especially like the Dodgers since my grandkids live in South Bay Los Angeles).
 
In a series expected to be dominated by the high priced fire power of Judge, Soto, Stanton and Ohtani it is pretty neat seeing games decided by a hobbled somewhat elderly after thought first baseman. I love baseball.
 
I may have a new favorite ball player. Ohtani, Betts, Judge, Stanton, Soto? Long way to go yet but the gimpy guy could end up being WS MVP.
 
Keep those bats working Dodgers , leave the Yankees out in the field.
