What's up with the Yankees hate?A great October for us Dodger fans-up 3-zip in the World Serious! I think the Yankees are screwed and there is nothing sweeter in sports than seeing the Yankees get trampled.
Remember the 2004 championship series between the Yankees and the Red Sox?1 more win!
I wish George Steinbrenner was still alive to witness it.
1996 ALCS Orioles vs Yankees game 1 I think it was. Umps give the Yanks a HR on fan interference, should've been a double the ball would not have cleared the fence. Screwed the pooch for us after that. What's up with the Yankees hate?
And that's the fault of the Yankees because...?1996 ALCS Orioles vs Yankees game 1 I think it was. Umps give the Yanks a HR on fan interference, should've been a double the ball would not have cleared the fence. Screwed the pooch for us after that.
Never forgive, never forget. Death to the Yankees!
Anymore, I have somewhat the same attitude towards all sports*, generally, I don't care about what team wins or what their win/loss record is or who their quarterback is or if Taylor Swift will be at the game. I find, at least for me, it's healthier (for me) to just not care if the Hawks win or lose, same for that baseball team from Seattle. I was talking to a friend the othe day, he was so distraught from the Hawks game this past Sunday that he'd gotten sick to his stomach. Wow.More and more I view sports as light entertainment and exhibitions of athleticism and strategy and worry less and less about the W/L record. All the players that I rooted for back in my more rabid days are long retired or dead. And if it happens after 8pm I probably won't see it.

I remember writing my high school biology term paper (banging it out on my inherited manual Royal typewriter) during game six of the 1975 World Series between the Cincinnati Reds and the Boston Red Sox…I was living in Bridgewater MA at the time, and knowing full well that my biology teacher Mr Scarano was a serious die hard BoSox fan, I cleverly included game highlights in between paragraphs, ending with as best a written description of Carlton Fisk’s walk off homer in the ninth that I could muster…Remember the 2004 championship series between the Yankees and the Red Sox?
There is a 3-part documentary on that series that just debuted on Netflix--The Comeback.Remember the 2004 championship series between the Yankees and the Red Sox?
I wish I could see the series. Our daughter living in Boston back then so we were rooting for the Sox.There is a 3-part documentary on that series that just debuted on Netflix--The Comeback.

When it comes to baseball, hell yah!!! I hate the Dodgers, I hate them because of 1 play, a home run by Rick Monday off Steve Rogers in game 5 to take my beloved Montreal Expos out of the NLCS in 1981 (Blue Monday). I hate the Dodgers!!!!!Live in the past much?
Relax, it's all in jest. Don't you bust balls over football? Besides, it's not like Yankee fans are still interfering with games. Oh wait..Live in the past much?
