Baseball 2024

M's continue to win a lot of series. Many games are won just by one run. Makes it fun to watch exciting games.

M's have had too many injuries this year. Definitely don't need any more.

It will be interesting to see who they pick-up to improve the offense. As others have said---> keep our pitching staff intact!

M’s gonna have to drop a few precious coins.
Well that would be a new thing for this franchise.
Not exactly known for spending money, when they need too.
In 2001, they had the chance to get a bat for the stretch, Lou asked for one, said he needed one, and management said no.
So hope they open the bank and spend some coin for the right guy for all the fans out there,
and not some over the hill 35 year old, but afraid the next move could be another Chone Figgins...

Time will tell...

M's bought the remainder of Root Sports this year.

That has to hit the pocket books pretty hard IMHO. Not sure how much coin they can come up with now...

Do not waste this starting rotation. Gilbert, Kirby, Woo, Miller, and Castillo all are no. 1-2
Type quality starters. Good bullpen. Get the wood!!!! And just maybe, maybe ….. take the pressure off Rodriguez and a couple others and watch them flourish. Could be a beautiful thing. An exciting September/October?

I agree 100%.

I don't follow baseball much except enjoying when the M's are on the radio. Who might be available who could add the offensive production the M's need and take the heat off everyone else?

Cody Bellinger? They are out there and there will be a more after another 2-3 weeks of the season. But they will all be high end steak restaurant priced menu items. If you remember last year at the end of the season Clutch man Cal Raleigh was vocal about the M’s inability or lack of desire to acquire talent to help push them into the post season and many felt like he did. He wasn’t speaking just for himself. He was speaking for many. I think you could say he is unquestionably the leader of that team, although quiet most of the time when he does say something it carries a lot of weight. Maybe I’m wrong.

Well if we're dreaming.. Pete Alonzo? Platoon Alonso and France at 1st and DH. That would be a statement by management.

Yes, I have never been able to understand it. How much more money does a billionaire need.

I occasionally watch this guy's humorous baseball analysis vids when they shoe up in my feed. This one is pretty cool

got back from dinner, turned on the game, bottom of the first Ms-7, KC-0?? ? Did I slip into an alternate universe. Off to check the box scores

Exact same thing here..

Ditto. Put it on on the way home and had to check my phone if I heard 7-0 right. Wow what a first inning all with two outs. 3 or 4 doubles and a homer by Bliss!

Gotta wonder if the 10 run rule is in effect tonight against those amazing young Royals. Now 8 zip.
Edit: Whoops as always spoke too soon.

Got us a game going on here. M's flashing the leather in the bottom of the 5th. Will B Miller come back out for the 6th; really struggling to locate pitches since that rain squall. Julio back to trying to do to much IMO; man on second no outs just elevate one or find a way to get through the infield.

what did I just see...? Great job by the Royals to hang in there and never quit. But are the Mariners pitchers on the take? How many dirt-balls were thrown tonight?

Triple down the left field line, not very common.

Hats off to the winners for not giving in to a team known for their pitching and holding an 8 run lead. Gotta question Servais trotting a not sharp Miller out there again. Luckily it is only one game. No chest thumping required.
