On that note does anybody know the gist of next seasons broadcast contract?

Kraken will be on local channels and i heard the TrailBlazers have expressed interest in leaving. If that’s the case Mariners will be the only ones on their network. Gosh I hope Root Sports sinks into the abyss.
 
I can usually watch on Root Sports but am reluctant to sign up for yet another streaming service for one night. Plus for some reason I also can't get it on the radio. With my limited tech skills that is probably not surprising.

Mariners bought Root Sports late last year...

I downloaded the seattlesports app to my phone and can listen to play by play for free. Better than nothing maybe...

Might be able to listen to on your laptop. Hint: make sure you click on audio at top of screen because it defaults to video.

I am having Mariners withdrawl tonight. Mariners are so much better than current politics, even if the Mariners lose...
 
Watching on Apple + which it turns out I have though not knowing it. Why I don't sign up for any other services. Probably paying for something I never use. Got the gme but the video freezes every 10 seconds or so though the audio does not. Guess it'sbetter than nothing but not much.

Yeah, they’re on Apple TV on Fridays. Which is “ok” if you have AppleTV but I miss hearing the local play by play announcers.
 
Dubious websites with even more dubious pop-up ads, but that's why we have a dedicated Chromebook for streaming. With 4 months of subscriptions we can pay for a new Chromebook if it comes to that

And now it just quit completely and I can't get it back. gotta figure out how to cancel Apple + TV.

another one run win. I think they lead the league in that stat, and maybe strikeouts LOL. It's no coincidence that some of the best cardiac centers in the world are in Seattle.
 
More on umpires. Can't we just get rid of those fat blind sons of bitches? I have run out of expletives to shout at the TV. I just watched one kill a rally by striking out a batter calling ball 4 a strike on a pitch that was around the ankles. For someone who is paid to see, how can they possibly be that bad? We can put a probe on an asteroid several million miles out in space and bring back samples and can't tell when a bright white baseball thrown from 60 feet away is not above the knees? WTF?
 
Maybe we should let the batter call their own balls and strikes ... Just kidding!

Need to get the electronic calling of the balls and strikes (whatever that is called)...
 
Wish the M's could figure out a way to keep some of these runs in their pocket.
