D mo is having a career year.
Keep him in the lineup.

Some good stuff happening with the M's right now. DMo is a big part of that. Rojas was such a great trade, Canzone too. Raley is tearing it up, ridiculous... love to see someone as large as him run the bases like a turbo charged bulldozer..

On the downside, is Mitch Garver the new Jesse Winker? Is Ty France going to be the slugger that's expected from a 1st baseman (who's defense historically isn't that good). Will Julio get things in gear -- his swing frankly looks broken; don't understand why it isn't fixable.

Them being in 1st place right now says a lot, because I think they are playing with only a portion of their toolset. If when they get their offense playing just at par for their talent level they'll really be cooking.

... and then there are those amazing young Royals; 12 games above .500. Bobby Witt Jr is showing everyone what a talent he is, hitting 306, last night with 2 homers and 6 RBIs, second time this season with 6; all world defense, steals bases, you name it. This is just a fun team to watch.

I agree with one small proviso. I'm an M's fan all the way, but I don't like they're hitting, too many strikeouts and ugly at bats. Might be time to look at a new hitting coach.
