George Kirby is looking like Cy Young material tonight. Really shocked the M's got to Singer so early, they usually whiff and roll over for slider/sinker pitchers. Lots of game left to go.

Mariners are starting (?) to hit better. Way to many foul balls and strike outs still. But they are able to win games and series.

George Kirby is looking like Cy Young material tonight. Really shocked the M's got to Singer so early, they usually whiff and roll over for slider/sinker pitchers. Lots of game left to go.

Singer has had trouble in early innings, though generally has been able to muddle through without giving up too many runs, just way too many pitches so hasn't gone much past 6. Hopin' the Royals turn it around tonight after taking 3 oof 4 from the Angels.

Mariners won the series against a very good KC Royals team. Was fun to watch and kept me on the edge of my seat.

Mariners have won 8 of the last 9 series too. Amazing!

Good series, both teams are fun to watch, with very good starting pitching and some great young players. We'll getcha next time.

Great series, and I wouldn't be surprised if the Royals took the next one. I think M's pitching is a tad better overall, and KC's offense a tad better. The M's offense stepped up a bit this series. Some guys really ground out some key at bats. Funny, I'm an M's fan, but I prefer the way KC plays a 'make contact' offense vs. the M's 'home run or strikeout' approach -- those are both extremes but you get the drift.

The M's appear to be getting their offense more on point. Better OBP and BA in last couple of weeks. I hope that continues. I would not like to see a trade of one of our great pitchers (or two) for a hitter in order to get into the playoffs. Only time will tell...

My O;s take 2 of 3 from the M's and should have swept except our bullpen is very inconsistent.
