Anyone need new nippers?

Music is interesting. People can sure have some strong opinions, which is fine but sometimes a little surprising to me. I'm no huge fan of U2 or the Grateful Dead but I can at least appreciate both of those bands and their music and their roles in "pop music history" I guess you might call it.
 
The one that got to me was the very talented Billy Squire. He had some good tunes and a very talented guitarist (MHO) , but when I saw him at the Seattle Coliseum in 83 or 84 his dancing gyrations and rose pink unitard did not match the music he was pumping out. 🙁.

I think we should incorporate more musical merchandise into the fly fishing world.

Imagine a Helios 3d six weight with Snoop Dog's face on the blank. Or a special edition Renzetti Master vise with the base decorated with the Island Boys faces. A Simms sling pack with the Green Day logo. Maybe a custom Metallica trout net. A Rush bobbin. So much room for expansion here.

Mike Houser was pretty darn special. Some of my most fond memories as a younger swimmy were traveling around the country getting to see those guys play music. Some of my closest friends still to this day I met because of that band.

Fuck cancer.

Not that they sell vises anymore, but Abel just announced you can buy a vise base from them for $245. Makes charging $250 for nippers seem ridiculous when I can get 6lbs of aluminum with "Abel" painted on it for the same price. Gonna buy three of these, one for each vise, and laugh at all the folks who are wasting their money.
