I've been seeing a few images that folks have generated using text-to-image AI software so I thought I'd give it a try. I'm impressed in many ways, but after plugging in "Steelhead trout chasing an artificial fly in a river flowing past an ancient coniferous forest beneath majestic mountains" and getting the results below I'm giving AI an extra year or two before I expect it to enslave humanity and exercise dominion over all living things.
