2026 Gardening Growing Thread

I went all tiny tomatoes this year: sweet million cherry, sungold, and yellow pear.
I only have space for 3 plants and I've found eating them straight of the vine is my favorite way to enjoy them and if I get overwhelmed, they are great oven roasted or turned into sauce.

I was away from home for two weeks, so it was nice to return and things in bloom and my garden not dead.
This is a native rhodie, two plants actually. I got them as seedlings from the conservation district 20 years ago. Transplanted them when we moved into the "new" house in 2010. They're doing well, and I really like 'em.
The boards of my raised beds were rotting out, so I replaced two of them with new lumber this year. Got a few things growing, radishes, onions, carrots, spinach, sugar snap peas, and lettuce. Also transplanted my tomato plants. They're currently suffering transplant trauma, so I hope they get back to growing soon.

There is another explanation. My camera battery died on day 2 of my Utah hike, so I took a few photos with my camera (long story). I mainly relied on photos from my hiking companions for the trip. I needed to get my camera and phone photos loaded onto my computer to share with the group (a longer story). When I got home, I decided to test the camera battery life (3 days) and take some yard and garden and kitchen photos that I might as well share.
If only I can get a new battery for it.Good to hear your camera works!

Here’s my tomatoes and cucumbers trying/hoping to “climb” the ladder…..cucumbers are kinda sucking so far.
I’m behind on my cucumbers, squash and zucchini.
Tomatoes are doing ok. They’ll go in the big pots next week.

This rhododendron is my favorite! It makes a great privacy screen for my deck picnic table…..

I don't know what got into my tomatoes I had to pull 4 of my 5 plants out. They looked sick. wilting, blueish, yellowish, I haven't encountered that before. I have a water tester probe, I probe each plant before watering to make sure it needs water or not. I given them plant food and they never bounced back. Ill replace them this weekend.
