Nature is fun. I noticed some leaf curl on our Oregon Ash tree and all signs pointed to aphids. A few days later a handful of these showed up to take care of it for me.

Soldier Beetle is the common name for those I think.
Garlic is almost read to harvest. This year I missed cutting the scape on one garlic and the bulb was definitely smaller in size. Proving cut your scapes if you want larger bulb harvest.

I cut all my scapes all 145 of them but checked this morning and waiting for them to obviously form cloves
I have never grown garlic and had to look this up. Do you eat your garlic scapes? What do you do with them/how do you use them?
