I can relate…
The only thing you can be…is the parent you want to be in preparing your children for the future…especially when you are gone.
Parenting is a choice and one that I didn’t take lightly.😉
 
I remember the time I went to Yellowstone. People were treating the wildlife there (bison, deer, elk) like it was a petting zoo.

Everyone stopping their cars and jumping out when ever they saw an animal. And playing the game of getting as close as you could to them in order to get a Facebook picture.
 
Maybe put out signs like: "Yellowstone Park is not liable for injuries when close to the fluffy cows/bears" Maybe then Touran's will get it.

I'm glad the bison aren't being killed after the stupid touron encounters. The problem with bears and big cats in the stupid tourons mix is that on average, 25% of the bears and possibly more of the cats will be hunted down and killed afterwards.
 
I'm thinking the score right now is the Bison now lead 2-0.

Number one. Although it was tough to score this one the Bison takes it because he inflicted injuries on the idiot.

The Bears need to get on the board before the Bison get too far ahead...although the Bears are a 4th quarter team (Fall), they can't get too far behind...

Amen. I’m learning that toddler intelligence actually manifests itself specifically as “bad” decisions and boundary pushing. They just wanna see potential energy turn into kinetic. I’m a good parent (I think), but just stepping out the door with my two year old is dicey.

What can go wrong when people get between/near a mother and her baby? Especially when a mom has horns...
 
Sorry to say it, but folks deserve what they get. In a way, the system is also to blame because the consequences are not severe enough. If some type of lifetime ban ( as others have mentioned) were to be put in place or instant removal from the park ( to include nay kind of camping etc) were to take place, maybe, just maybe things may turn around.
In the meantime, these incidents will continue to happen.....they do every year....it never fails.
