Holy $#!T! Back in my Yellowstone hot-potting days (approaching 50 years ago, sad to say...) we would carry thermometers and determined 103º F to be optimal and 105º to be the upper limit. These guys drove into a 105º pool and made it out okay, but a little - what's the culinary term - blanched?
