What have you done for your boat lately?

I can't speak to boats, but I bought a 24V Lithium ion Battery to power my CPAP camping battery earlier this year. In the past that was accomplished by two Group27 deep cycle batteries along with a pure sine wave inverter. Those batteries were typically charged each day by my Honda Eu2000i gas...

Here are the results using suggested material and a couple I came up with that I already had. 1) WD-40 2) Carb Cleaner 3) Mr Clean Magic Eraser 4) Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound 5) Nu-Finish Scratch Doctor The Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound did the best job of removing the black streaks with the...

    NFR Phishing is Getting Better!

I received an email just after noon today. The subject line has my correct first and last name. Included in the body of the email is my correct home address. They suggest that I am eligible to receive money regarding a student loan I took out. 1) I have never applied for or taken a student loan...

Removing Marks on Aluminum Boat Hull

I secured my boat travel cover with a bungee cord that has left marks on the hull exterior. I tried using degreaser and it didn't do anything. The marks are from the plastic exterior of the bungee hook. The boat hull has a valuable "machine turning" pattern on the exterior that I don't want...

    Camping Gear Recommendation Thread

Thanks @iveofione, I bought a Koonie 10000MAh Clip on Fan last year for use in my truck camper. Your selection of Frizcol appears to be a much better choice for the same price for the following reasons. 1) Two removable batteries of larger MaH. 2) Timer to shut off the fan. 3) USB out charging...

    Backyard Wildlife

I know that eagles like to poach crow and raven nests for food, and likely that Cooper's hawks do also.

That would be a "no go" with my wife. Her preference is a manual push mower.

    Crane Prairie Reservoir(Oregon) June 2024

I arrived at Crane Prairie on Memorial Day expecting to find a full campground. Seeing all the RV traffic headed down Hwy58 while I was driving up should have tipped me off. The Crane Prairie Campground was mostly empty. I had a campsite reserved. There were three campsites below mine occupied...

A very pregnant doe last week at Crane Prairie. Her two yearling's were not far away. The larger one on the left was pretty scroungy.

Walk in options near Florence OR

I would take the pontoon. There are a number of lakes at the north edge of Florence. Google Earth is your friend.

    Intermediate camo lines

The only intermediate line I fish is a Cortland Clear Camo. I have used it for at least 10 years. Put a lot of trout in the net.
