Removing Marks on Aluminum Boat Hull

I secured my boat travel cover with a bungee cord that has left marks on the hull exterior. I tried using degreaser and it didn't do anything. The marks are from the plastic exterior of the bungee hook.

The boat hull has a valuable "machine turning" pattern on the exterior that I don't want ruined.

What are the suggestions for cleaning up that ugly mark?

Here are the results using suggested material and a couple I came up with that I already had.
1) WD-40
2) Carb Cleaner
3) Mr Clean Magic Eraser
4) Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound
5) Nu-Finish Scratch Doctor

The Turtle Wax Rubbing Compound did the best job of removing the black streaks with the cloth picking up a lot of black material.
The remaining 4 items were about equal in effectiveness.

I think I will continue multiple cleanings with the Turtle Wax and when I am satisfied will touch up the area with a circular fine grit sanding disc to restore the machine turned area that has been degraded by the rubbing compound.

Thank you to all that provided input!

Citrus Air Freshener Spray
Removes glue residue
Loosens stickers
Gentle on most paints (that I have tried it on)
Smells good too
