Decided to take a young friend fly fishing for her first time. Her first fish will most likely be a bonefish. Some little bonefish crab patterns that are quite effective around an archipelago about 90 minutes off the coast of Belize.

Tail - Golden pheasant crest
Butt - Bronze peacock herl
Ribbing - Oval gold tinsel
Body - Embossed gold tinsel
Wing - Green bucktail and green Flashabou Accent mixed and tied low over the body
Hackle - Fluorescent green hen hackle tied on as a collar and tied back

Getting ready for summer carp. Maybe even spring!

Carp Damsel Nymph, flashy version-
Thread: 3/0 Olive
Hook: Gama L11S-3H #8
Weight: 1 shank length of .025 lashed on top instead of wrapped
Also tie them unweighted, but still with copper
Tail: Olive Partridge- the fibers that have marabou to them
Rib: copper wire
Abdomen: Hareline Ice Dub Olive Brown
Casing: Olive Partridge tied in that is also side hackle/legs
Body: Hareline Ice Dub Peacock Black
Hackle: Olive Partridge from tied in case
