Working on peacock simiseal leeches sz 12 fm5045. I like to loop dub this size w/ half length fibers. Parchment makes a nice work surface for this.

Al knudson was a Fly
Fisherman of the early 1900's.He fished Rivers from Washington,Oregon
and Northern California.
He lived in Grants Pass Oregon for a time,and spent much of that time fishing and tying Flies,selling them to many wholesale accounts.
In the 30s he helped popularize the Rogue River for fly fishing.
Al is known for many Flies that he created,
This,His "Al's Special"
being one of them.
