“Caught” the larger of these two summers today.

Got to watch the eat as he came down for the fly and then shot off like a rocket. Managed to get the first backing run about half way reeled up when he did it again around a log jam. Thankful to get my line back.

Screw it, burned some gas money today. It was worth it.
Remembered the squirrel wing hair's ears, and they were good.

The above was taken just after I broke off the best fish, on the p&o, of this landed double of a triple hookup. Here's one from today @cedarslug .

The better fish was similar to this one. Almost like a summer steelhead.

Thx. There was a time I really followed Dave Hughes, Sylvester Nemes, ect. I came to believe, and today I could even take it to a new place and they worked just like always.

That's wild! At what moment are those doubles hooking up? During the fight, or while stripping the first fish back at hand?
