Warning to new fly tiers...

I showed my wife this thread and we both busted out in laughter mostly aimed at me.
I laughed so hard until I noticed you had a bigger pile.

3 months after moving still need to get tying stuff set up. Started on it yesterday but ended up focusing on rods.

Found a simple solution with some cheap angle brackets, scrap pine, and foam strips.

......on the other hand I have reduced the number of flies I carry around by about 80%. The other half of that equation should probably be an 80% reduction in tying materials I suppose. Plus, after decades of tying flies I am just bored with it and would rather spend $200 on pre-built flies than tying materials. Burnout for sure but catching fish has lost little of its appeal so far.
