Eventually i will get this one and the last scanned at a high rez and repost. The color and brushwork visible is always disappointing from my phone shots of my paintings. I tend to have subtle aspects that never seem to be conveyed this way

I have posted a painting in the past of Drano but i believe the one you asked about is just a quarter mile west of Stevenson Wa where Rock Creek meets the Columbia

Very nice! I especially like the magical light on the water. It goes well with the light in the distant sky.

The “distant sky” will be a steep clay bank with trees rising way above. So bounce light from above and towering fir trees in silhouette. Lots more painting to do
