OMJ - Yakima trip (11/10 to 11/12)

Fishing was very good. I stuck with a trout spey and a #10 sculpin pattern. The fish were really fiesty. Bill and I weren't able to get together as I forgot cell reception is so spotty in the canyon. Perfect water levels and no wind. I also made a toast to OMJ riverside.

We both toasted Jim around 2pm.. I was in the bar at Red's drinking free cocktails, black rye manhattans' and talking to the staff and Steve Joyce! Cast a few new rods, 7wts, a Winston and Sage I believe.. both rocked! I'll be picking the Winston up for my CI and to take bonefish fishing in Belize and Christmas Island in the not so distant future.. I'll probably pick up the rod as my Christmas present to myself.. Considering the new Orvis Helios too.. It's just money!!
