It was determined during the prop test that the boat is "irresponsibly fast" with this motor. That's how I knew I made the right decision.

Lots of cool features on this thing. I got the upgraded tiller handle that has a digital screen for monitoring the vitals, and has a neat trolling feature so I can adjust my RPMs with a switch vs the throttle handle. I'll hopefully take some vids/pics when I do the break-in this weekend.

My Suzukis were always yellow. Different sport tho.

Nice motor Evan, I like the black (y)

Haven't owned a new outboard in many years.
What is the recommended break-in process on a new motor like this?

first hour-ish at around 3000rpm, then around 4000rpm for the second hour. Can use mostly freely after that up to 10hrs without hitting the full throttle-ish range.

I got to 3hrs yesterday.

If I could afford it I'd buy blue.. the SHO is awesome.

New motor is a long way off. I need a trailer.
