My Dad took me ice fishing there once when I was a young boy. It was at least 65 years ago but the one thing that still sticks in my mind is Eelpout.
Hahaha- yeah, cool looking fish! You can catch them in deep lakes in WA, but here they call them burbot. They're freshwater relatives of ling cod.
(We didn't catch any on this trip, but I grew up in MN, so have come across them before)
