Lakes of Mt. St. Helens

In 2012 Weyerhauser sold the property containing the Margaret high lakes area. It was locked up tight with no access the last time I was in the area. Not sure if that's still the case though. Really pissed off a lot of people (myself included) when it happened.

Mount Margaret Backcountry is located in the National Monument and is accessible to the public-

Weyerhaeuser sold the St. Helens High Lakes area. The sale closed off access to lakes (Fawn, Elk, Hanaford…) on the west side of the mountain. It definitely blocked access to some very productive lakes!
