Green Chorominoids.?

My fly boxes wind up looking like Steve's - because I saw green/pink/shinny chironomids that one time...

I try and have several green variations, just because you never know. And it justifies buying more stuff,

I have had good luck with multiple different colors.

Maybe ten years ago now, back at the cabin after a day of fishing, Keith was tying up a couple of new midges. The first fly he tied was with a black nickel bead with white thread. I was scratching my head wondering about this until he dug out all his markers:



A little green, a little white, a little brown, a little red - sometimes these work well (sometimes they don't).
