Ha!

We had a burro when I was growing up. His name was also “Max”!!!
Burros are real characters. We used him for packing/hunting in the Cascades.

This was my last dog, Cody the Keeshond! It's been a long time since I've had a dog, but I'm going to adopt a dog soon.. very tempting before Christmas, but really I want to find the right dog! Medium sized and young, but not a puppy.. no pitbulls, I've met some sweet ones, but they're not for me..

Maybe a corgi, love them, but prefer a water dog.. want a lab, but they're bigger than I want. I'll take my time and find the right pup! Cheers!1-12-2007 7-19-58 AM_0137.JPG

English Cocker Spaniels are great family dogs, grew up with a golden one.
Still trying to grow up with one. Two speeds, full and off. I would not be whole without him. My speckled face accomplice.
Edit: You do not want to get into a staring contest with this dog. You WILL look away first.

Not water dogs, but some of very best dogs we've ever had were Australian Cattle Dogs (often referred to as Heelers). Medium sized, rugged, affectionate, easy care, and extremely intelligent. This working breed hasn't been ruined by AKC conformation dogshow breed bullshit.
