Hey, on the title of this thread. There is no "S" on the word "dog". shouldn't it say dogs. It has a better ring to it.

Yes, it absolutely should - I F'd up (didn't proof read) and don't know how to fix it, I don't think I can edit the title.

☹️

You were the originator of this posting so if you go to your first post, click on edit. On the WFF when you do that, it allows you to edit the title as well as the message. Give it a try..

Super thanks. Fixed!! It's been irritating me since I noticed it last night. Now I will sleep better tonight. Never checked to see if edit would allow editing the title.

cheers

Nice job but you are still a lowly smolt. And just noticed I have gone from being "just hatched" to joining you as a lowly smolt. Maybe time to request a refund.

This is Twister. (We rescued him out of Oklahoma right around the time they had a big tornado in the news.). I figured he was a hound / lab mix but we did one of those doggie DNA tests and he came out 1/4 Great Dane and 1/4 Golden Retriever. The other 50% is a mixed bag of a dozen other breeds. He’s a sweet dog but definitely NOT a hunter :)

Life of the Party
It’s an ‘85 hightop VW Vanagon conversion, called an “Adventurewagen “ by the guy that used to build them in CA.
That's a beauty for being an '85..!! You must baby it a lot..? Was it converted over to a camper inside with frig, stove and beds. My BIL (he's since passed) was German and bought a regular VW van, picked it up at the factory in Germany when he went back to Germany on vacation. They drove it up to Norway for a month's holiday and then had it shipped back to the US. Not sure what year it was but he always went over it with a tooth brush making sure it was always in mint condition. Just before he passed, he just about gave the van away to a young guy. I loved those VW's, they were meant to be traveled in style..

Thanks. Sounds to me like your BIL lived a good life.

Yep, it’s got a fridge , furnace, stove, upper and lower bunks that fold away, tables and lots of storage. It’s a great camping and fishing rig.

Everything is new mechanically. We installed a brand new out of the box modern VW Passat engine, all new running gear, new fuel lines and gas tank, completely new radiator and cooling system front to back, yadayadayada. It cost a bunch but is now reliable. I retired a few years ago and it’s been my hobby/COVID escape mechanism. Plus the dog likes and and my wife tolerates it.

Back to dogs…
