Made a few changes to Bob Reese’s version, mainly in the winging sequence. Tied a couple with/without the parachute - not sure it adds anything besides complexity.

hook - WFC Model 30 #10
thread - Uni 6/0 tan
rib - small wire copper
body - 2mm foam tan
wing(s) - Congo Hair white
shellback/head - 2mm foam tan
legs - medium round rubber corn snake
indicator - 2mm foam orange

The Alexandra exists in numerous variations. It is a fly of English origin that was supposedly banned in fishing competitions at one time because of its killing effectiveness.
