Wishing I could swing this through the tailout of the Orchard Run on the "M" river? Late February was a good time, weather permitting*, to fish for steelhead.

Can’t really see the dubbing in the picture but went with a rusty brown ice dub/rusty brown rabbit dubbing mix for the body, antelope for the head/wing, and wine thread this time.

A while back someone was enthusiastic about using a white leech pattern. I have no idea why this might work unless the fish took it as a small baitfish.

Hook: 60 degree jig hook size 8

Tail: white woolly bugger Maribou with pearl flash
