Agreed! It was such a breath of fresh air to see that our QB could step forward into the pocket and still have time to make a nice pass. Have not seen that in years and years...
 
Too much emphasis on Lance. When the Niners went to the super bowl a couple years ago JG threw an interception in the first quarter against GB. The Niners won that game by running on like 30 of the next 35 plays.

My point is the Niners are built on D and a creative run game. Their D line is loaded, their LBs are maybe the best LB group in the NFL, and their DBs are much improved from last year. All the focus is on Shanahan and the O but thats not how they win. They won the last few years with D, good running game and JG doing juuuuuuust enough.

Anybody saying what Lance is or can be is just talking. Shoot, I don't even think the Niners know what he is/could be. He was solid, not great last week. Then the D committed a bunch of penalties to extend Bears drives and they fell behind. Throwing the ball in a full on downpour never works and he paid the price.

I think Seattle starts out with momentum, maybe up by 7 before half. Then the Niners find their footing and grind out a win by 6.

Bears controlled the 2nd half last week. Jimmy G getting more practice snaps already.


Pete Carroll is working hard to keep up with the hot young coaches. It will be tough with that offense.

You mean when Fields completed his first pass to a WR/TE with 3:51 to go in the third?
 
I just read all of this stuff. It is a amazing amount of discourse about 2 bad teams and a one point win. I was in Montana fishing for a few days and felt that I was probably the real winner.

It is my understanding that all Thursday Night games will be on Prime Video so those of us with Prime can watch them for free. Anybody know who the announcers are?

Amazon has Thursday Night Football exclusively, local broadcast stations for the teams playing in a given week will also carry the games over the air.
 
Every time I see a tie in the NFL it makes me giggle. They spend millions on each game and when it ends in a tie, i love it.
