I have ordered prescription photochromic sunglasses from here twice (sport lenses) and have been happy with the quality: https://www.opticus.com

If you were older and owned an RV...I guess as I am nearing 40 my eyes have decided they don't like my contacts as much...
Never really thought about prescription sunglasses but am now in the market. What does everyone use?
I'm a little overwhelmed with costs and the different coatings/lens tints. Help!![]()

They help in spelling “galsses” too…I've heard good things about Costco prescription galsses. Maybe my next pair with be from there.
Tortoise Shell frames and ya have the “Ray Charles” look…
Yes, if the Costco you go to has a separate optometrist office. There is one at the 4th Ave Costco in Seattle.Does Costco do the eye exam, too?
I had cataract surgery a few years ago but they didn’t correct my astigmatism. For the first few years, I didn’t wear glasses or contacts but finally realized my vision was not optimal, so I went back to contacts. They are a very minor correction and I buy the daily wear lenses from Costco. The contacts are very comfortable and I toss them at the end of the day. Since I’m turning 65 in a couple of weeks, in a few years I will probably reach the point where I don’t want to bother with them, so I’m interested in this thread.I guess as I am nearing 40 my eyes have decided they don't like my contacts as much...

The mirror coating reflects light and can provide better UV protection and a brighter field of view than tinted lenses alone. I had a pair of mountaineering - skiing sunglasses that were photo amber to brown photochromic lens with a double mirror gradient; a gradual thining of the coating to zero in the middle. They worked great for snow. The mirror coating is pure aesthetics

Along with an RV you must have a small yappy dog that runs around on top of the dash, those one piece belted coveralls, and a captain's hat. A contrast stitched leisure suit is also a very desirable fashion accessory. Extra points if baby blue.
That's one model I'm looking at.I like Wiley X. My son in the Army turned me on to them, and I’ve got polarized progressive lenses in mine. Hope my prescription doesn’t change dramatically for a while because I really like them.
I can’t remember the online source you suggested a couple years ago. They were great to work with, sent five pairs of frames for fit/comfortability befI bought mt prescription bifocals. Very reasonable pricesMacho Man Savage inspired!
