I think Mr. Travers hangs out with Frank from the old Westfly site.
Probably Bob Lawless as well.

Chili's changed the logo a while back, so it's harder to confuse it for Chiji's--even for an unpatriotic born(?) Aussie who eschews chewing steaks at Outback, for noshing carbs at the OG.If I was gonna shout for parking at any of the below, i ranked which ones I would, most to least, be likely to shout for a parking spot
1- Applebees
2- Chijis
3- Azteca
4- Olive Garden
5- Texas roadhouse and/or Longhorns
6- Outback Steakhouse

Damn, Matt, the stuff you know about corporate logos!Chili's changed the logo a while back, so it's harder to confuse it for Chiji's--even for an unpatriotic born(?) Aussie who eschews chewing steaks at Outback, for noshing carbs at the OG.
Now there's not even a word for the place--that's how, uh, special it is.
All classic first date movies. I like to think of your list as a “draw a line for the matches” exercise. You just gotta find the magic combo, <mwuh>Damn, Matt, the stuff you know about corporate logos!
i like to think that Travers was yelling in OG parking lot because his dinner and movie pairing (or movie and dinner) was a tough combo for a first date
Olive Garden and The Elephant Man
Applebees and Hotel Rwanda
Chijis and Schindler's List
Azteca and The Road
Texas roadhouse and/or Longhorns An Inconvenient Truth
Outback Steakhouse and Midsommar
Agreed. Made us appreciate Phil Collins in a different light.I think American psycho is a great first date movie.
Really sets the tone.
For bonus points, go to Dick’s on Broadway. Include this as part of of a complete tour of all the locations in “Posse on Broadway.”American Psycho + Dick's is a Movie+ Dinner Combo that's hard to beat...
Me, too! My imagination is rampant when I sleep. I want pleasant dreams, not blood and guts.So many date ideas!!I think the Drive In with the Shinning or the original Twister! Not really into the horror thang!
The Australian version of our Jim Travers dining out.
If you're going full Cap.Hill - Dick's + Singles given the apartment building is not so far away, plus deep irony...in that movie young Eddy Vedder plays in a band called "Citizen Dick" . Parking sucks round there so Travers could yell a bunch. Then again Sir Mix A Lot can tell you no shortage of yelling on Broadway, so no-one would pay him any mind...( movie has dated somewhat in that folks didn't want to be sell-outs, kids these days aspire to be influencers and sell out ASAP)For bonus points, go to Dick’s on Broadway. Include this as part of of a complete tour of all the locations in “Posse on Broadway.”
Walk the Line! A good movie!Maybe walking the tightrope there. I feel it in my bones.![]()
Henry Winkler for President!!I think Travers is DJT!
Constantly using capital letters inappropriately, inconsistent thoughts, irreverent wondering thought processes & complete lack of self awareness. Grandiose boasting, zero respect for those that work for, support or serve him.
Who would've thought DJT was a fly fisherman!
Not![]()
