I've had tennis elbow for 40-some years. I've tried braces and bands, and they help, that is, I feel better in the moment. I've also been to PT and had some medical treatment - they felt good in the moment as well, but no lasting benefit. A trainer at my former health club gave me the most effective advice. Four ibuprofen tablets twice a day and a 10 minute ice water bath for the elbow after exercise. Ice cubes and ice packs don't do shit by comparison. Dump 15 or 20 ice cubes in a large bowl, add cold water. Dunk that elbow - it'll hurt! Takes a few minutes to be able to hold and keep it submerged, but that ice water will reduce the swelling. Which reduces the pain. Try this treatment for 2 to 3 weeks and see if that doesn't improve things.
