Rain

I live closer to the Cascades and it was windy around lunchtime.

NOAA forecast was a weather advisory for Renton Highlands but not Renton itself.

The weather advisory map I saw showed the entire PS area west of the Cascades were covered. I was just surprised to see hardly a ripple on the water all afternoon.

I have been draining my kiddie pool to water the plants. Getting an almost useless workout dragging around buckets of water. So if it doesn't rain til October, I am good.....and the pool will be about empty.

Very soon the skies will darken and unleash waters.

Sometimes the only way to stop the these various rain events is to gather up Big Coalition and fire guns into the storm!!!! Worked in Florida getting rid of a HURRICANE!!!!

Hopefully in the form of big white flakes
I'm not quite ready for snow but it does seem that it's going to take snow to snuff out some of the fires that are burning. The AQI is "71" this morning so I'd like to see RAIN, not the four drops that have fallen on our house.

@Matt B - ah! I just put the cushions away. Now I know why it isn't raining.

It was very nice to hear the rain fall last night. My local rain gauge says we got some decent moisture. 😉
