The original knife thread.

You and me both! This thread got me interested in adding to my collection again. I like old knives.

Here's a matched set that arrived today in the mail. I've got a couple others on the way. I'm open to trades at the swap meet!

this one that I have had for close to 50 years has been inside more than its share of Colorado elk and deer.

Here's one that I would guess is familiar to very few. A 40 year old Brusletto Rago that was a gift from a Brusletto family member. Brusletto started making knives in Geilo Norway in 1896 and has long been considered the preeminent blade maker in Norway often commissioned to create commemorative knives for events such as the Lillehammer Olympics.

I noticed in the background for the guy selling the trout plates, he has a display case full of knives. Maybe he'll share some pics with you guys. @mark wlker .

Good eye!
Regrettably, all those knives belong to a friend. He does the gun/antique shows here in Prescott/Phoenix, AZ. and I accompany him with my few meager/somewhat obscure offerings. He has some amazing stuff! 🤑
