What's in your vise?

Another shrimp. They catch fish and there are endless ways to tie them. The only thing I keep consistent is the use of easy shrimp eyes and something that moves for the “wing”?? Is that what you’d call that…the marabou on this fly? I think I have 40 shrimp tied 34 different ways in my shrimp box at the moment…

waddington shank with 80# braid, two white hackle, white Amherst, silver body braid, two yellow hackle, dubbing brush of silver/white northern lights, yellow Amherst (larger than white one), pearl rubber legs, white and black barred schlappen, dumbbell eyes, pearl ice dub over eyes

Been a week between flies as household duties and birding have taken up my time. If I get a chance, may try this as a Mother’s Day caddis.

thread - SemperFli 8/0 fluoro yellow
tail - Ice Dub caddis green
rib - small wire silver
body - Starburst Dubbing olive
hackle - Cree
shoulder - pheasant body feather
collar/head - deer hair
