I recently placed my largest ever coffee order. 23 pounds of green beans are on their way here, presumably somewhere between California and Washington (SM's only charges a flat rate UPS $10-$15 for shipping depending on how much you're buying). I don't remember the total but it was between $150 and $200. I got more than ever because of somebody here writing that prices might be expected to go up, and because with my new espresso machine I am using more coffee than I was before. Coffee is just something I don't feel the need to whittle down to as inexpensive as I can get it. Anyway, I've mentioned how I can't settle on one grower or origin or style of prep. I love the variety and some experimentation. I've been in coffee hog heaven with my roaster and brewing methods and have been dialing in some bangin' shots most recently with some Kenya Kirinyaga coffee.
