I fished today.
Not a fan of today’s tide…or the bright sun…or the lack of wind…. or the glass flat water…Other than that it was a nice day.
I’m looking forward to this week’s weather change!

Because we're old, retired, and can't keep track of what day of the week it is....plus eating the free samples is better than surviving on catfood sandwich spread.

Some people have jobs, and so going to Costco becomes a weekend or evening event. I hate shopping of any kind, as it involves being around other people and spending money, but I make an exception for foodstuffs.

It's an almost 90 mile round trip, so try not to go very often, stay very long, spend much money, or make eye contact with anyone.

The last three times I've gone to Costco I went in intending to purchase just one thing, and I exited with just that one thing ONLY!

I transferred my Costco card to my daughter. They normally do not do that but since I have been a member for so long (they have not seen a card like mine in over 20 years), I am so old, and she wants to shop for me, they made an exception.

So now I never go to Costco.

Yeah it’s time for the rivers to come up. Past time, really. I second the motion for coho to begin biting. Any opposed?

If somebody has to power to invoke the coho bite, please do so! I have flies tied, the next 4 days off. Wish the rain would quit effing around and bump the river gauge. I have a smoker to load dammit!

Jumping, lockjaw coho can drive a person to the edge….been there, done that in both fresh and saltwater.

In other news, I hope this develops. Wetter and cooler would be a good thing as far as snow goes and good for our fisheries on many fronts.
